  11. I've recently got ahold of an Amiga 2000 with a 2090 controller and an old
  12. slow 40ms 40 meg hd MFM type.  I had a much better 40 meg MFM drive 
  13. sitting around doing nothing.  I've been trying to install it.  Now the 
  14. 2090 software indicates that you can specify a custom hard drive so that's
  15. what i'm trying to do.  The drive is a Mitsubishi MR535 977 cyl 5 hds 17
  16. s/t.  When i tell the prep software this and it says "All data will be 
  17. erased.  Do you want to proceed?" and I type yes.  It runs the hard drive
  18. for a while and then just says "device not preped".

  20. I'm not new to computers.  But I am sorta new to the Amiga.  I've done a 
  21. lot of trouble shooting on IBM's but this really has got me stumpted.
